This catalogue lists the engines and gearboxes available from the JAP factory for 1927. Without J.A. Prestwich there would have been far fewer motorcycle manufacturers in the very early years as most companies didn’t have the technology, skills, and/or financial backing to be able to produce their own engines. Even bigger manufacturers like Royal Enfield used JAP engines up until 1924 in some of their models.
It also includes the factory drawing for JAPs own oil pump and a list of the main motorcycle manufacturers that used JAP engine units. Barnstormers used some of these pictures for its banners however we thought that the readers might like to see the whole book. Make sure you read the verse on the front cover.
As usual with other manuals it is in PDF format so make sure you have Adobe Acrobat Reader
