A parts book for the Ariel 550 side valve and the 500cc O.H.V models. A 54 page publication it covers all aspect of the parts that are the Ariel singles, including the sidecar chassis and mountings, and great illustrations for both the Sturmey Archer gearboxes and the Burman model Q gearbox fitted to these machines. Carburettor, magneto, and lighting are usually covered in separate publications, Ariel have decided to include them in their listings hence the rather larger 54 pages than most others.
It would be interesting to know the significance of the 2 swastika printed on the front cover, as this was before the reign of terror from Mr Hitler. Any thoughts?
