Not much to say about this parts book except it is for the lightweight Model 17 Raleigh that is powered by Sturmey Archers 1.75hp unit construction motor and gearbox, and is using a Villiers carburettor. The engine illustrations are worth a look. Are there still any out there?
On page 36 there is an interesting advertisement for a Raleigh mascot of Sir Walter Raleigh which could be purchased for 6s. 6d and proudly displayed by clamping to the motorcycle handle bars if an owner so wished.
