Humberette Cycle-car Engine Unit. Quite modern for 1913.
This catalogue also has hints on the management and adjustment of Humber motorcycles, including adjustment and care of the Sturmey Archer 3 speed rear hub. The prices written in pencil by each illustration would have been in New Zealand pounds from 1914 and gives an indication of the true value of the machines. By 1917 English machines were becoming quite expensive in New Zealand, as a comparison the value of an English 3 ½ ~ 4 hp motorcycle (500~600 cc) was equivalent to a 7 hp (1000cc) American motorcycle.
