Panther is probably one of the less common motorcycles seen on the roads today, and if you do see one it will most likely be the big 600 or 650 sloper, and could even be pulling a sidecar, something that they excelled at. But Phelon and Moore, the manufacturers of Panther, did produce smaller capacity machines, and from 1948 they offered up the model 65, a 250cc OHV vertical single, and its bigger sister the model 75 OHV. The motorcycles were advertised as “having a sparkly performance”, whatever that meant. So hopefully somebody out there will be able to make use of this well illustrated and detailed parts manual from 1950.
