Villiers produced the 2F single speed engine unit from 1948~58 and could be found powering Bown, Francis Barnett, Norman, Sun and New Hudson lightweight machines. It is a great small capacity stinkwheel, its 98cc engine producing an amazing low power of 2hp and is very simple in design.
Included within the manual are starting instructions for those not familiar with pedals, periodical attention or as we know it maintenance including adjusting points and timing the magneto, and dismantling the carburettor.
The parts section, although sparse owing to the 2 stroke principle of only 3 moving parts includes electrical for those who may want to ride at night.
