Following on from the 1949 LE Velocette parts catalogue previously published here this lovely little owners handbook, being in exceptional condition, is loaded with information for any owner wishing to do their own maintenance. Starting out with descriptions and layouts of all controls, levers, pedals and ‘that starting lever’ it follows on with some comprehensive maintenance including oil changes of the engine, gearbox and final drive box. There are paragraphs on grinding the valves and adjusting the tappets as well as the requirements of flushing the radiator and the addition of anti-freeze additive.
